RIGOROUS BRAIN TRAINING FOR PEAK PERFORMANCE

PROCESS

An athlete's sports-related perceptual-cognitive expertise is a crucial element of top-level competitive sports

Brain plasticity, or neuroplasticity, is the ability for the brain to recover and restructure itself. It is strengthened by applying an intervention exercise program, thus improving our cognitive capabilities.

Cognitive Training Programs

Evaluation is founded on scientific principles and established units of measurements.

WHY TRAIN OUR BRAIN?

Just because our eyes are open does not mean our brains are making effective use of the information in front of us. Of the mass of sensory data our brains take in, about 80% of it is dominated by 2 billion messages of visual information per second. Our brains can only meaningfully process a small amount of this data, so what we pay attention to, or how we direct our mental focus, has a huge impact on our awareness.

BRAIN’S IMPACT ON PERFORMANCE

We believe cognitive conditioning is as important as physical conditioning. After all, it’s the brain that controls the movement of the body. The critical movements of play are all decision-based, and typically made in split seconds. Awareness and attention are the key skills that allow athletes to make good decisions on the field. If your brain speed is slow, then your play will be slow — no matter how physically prepared you are.

COGNITIVE TRAINING THAT’S TAILORED TO YOU

Cognitive training is tailored to the individual through an assessment which provides validated tests to evaluate 23 cognitive skills in 5 main areas.

Every exercise adapts in difficulty as you work, and gets harder (across multiple dimensions) in order to push you to achieve new levels of peak performance.

BRAIN TRAINING THAT FITS INTO YOUR LIFE

The BoxOut training program takes less than 15 minutes to complete exercises and is available online, so you can do it on your own schedule. The program targets attention, awareness, brain speed and accuracy, so quicker and better split-second decisions become instinctual.

ATTENTION

The ability to choose and concentrate on relevant information

PERCEPTION

The abilities to capture, process and actively makes sense of information that our senses receive

MEMORY

The abilities to retain information and voluntarily recover it when needed

COORDINATION

The abilities move efficiently, carefully, quickly and purposefully

PROCESSING / REASONING

The abilities to process, understand and react to the information in order to get a specific conclusion in the least amount of time

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to questions regarding cognitive testing and training

Who is it for?

The use of this clinical program is simple and accessible to all audiences, including people unfamiliar with cognitive intervention programs. This brain training and cognitive stimulation program can be applied to anyone (children, adults, and seniors).

How does it strengthen cognitive function?

Research has shown that the personalized brain training program makes it possible to activate and strengthen fundamental cognitive skills with brain plasticity.
